i've noticed for a few of the Evolutions that you cant actualy take the skills to the requirement level of it in order to take the Evolutions one level before the required level (I.E Cannoneer cant take the required Triggered, large skill level 18+ at level 7 since skill cap is 17) so on the level of when you should be able to get it, can you spend the rest of the required skill points you get from normal leveling up in those skills so you can get the Evolution on that level?... sorry if that sounds confusing but its something that i noticed and wondered about

the level requirement is likely the level that all requirements can be met as long as you have capped or near capped skill, you can meet the requirements at lvl 8 and then get it a level 9.
I think you can only level up as the class once you have filled the requirements, since when you level up, you are levelling up AS that class. Once you meet the requirements, the next level you get you can change to that evolution class and gain the level as that class.

Cannoneer = Lv8

Cap = mundane 20 weapon 18. As long as you CAN meet the requirements for a class on the level at which you take it, and as long as you make sure you do so, then you can take the class.

So if what you gain from the new class would allow you to meet the requirements for that class once you have finished the levelling-up process you may take the class... sounds good.

It might be worth putting that explanation in the future versions.
